Monthly Evening Service

The Worship and Development Committee of the Kirk Session have been working very hard over this past session to come up with an alternative to Sunday Morning or Wednesday Worship. This has been a process that has taken some considerable time and one that has involved various discussions with several people – not least the youth of our Church who really felt they would like to see something different than the current style of worship enjoyed by so many on a Sunday morning.

We’re delighted to announce that the alternative is now here! We’re going to meet once a month within the Islay Hall at 7.00 pm during the months of September through May.

These services are in no way exclusive and every single person is most welcome – I do reiterate though that the style will be deliberately alternative to Sunday Morning Worship, although not uncomfortably so. It’s our aim to utilise multi-media as much as we can, create a praise band, hold discussions on various ‘hot topics’, invite guest speakers to share with us, and worship together using a range of contemporary worship hymns and songs.

The details of the services are to follow
